My name is Mina Benson, I have a Bachelors in English Literature and African American Studies from Wesleyan University. I am a recent FGLI college graduate and I am extremely excited to get working with students! I have a demonstrated history of working in the education industry for 8 years. I am skilled in written and oral communication, design/marketing, business management, administrative work, social work, and professional legal research. My experience in education spans over the fields of English, STEM, resume/career mentorship and overall English language development. I have been working directly with students of ages and in multiple academic settings! I am extensively well-rounded; I have the ability to adapt and be resourceful. I have strong administrative, professional, and social skills. There is no student that I cannot reach and my goal is to center to the individual needs of students in order to invoke the progression and development of their success. I believe in the promotion of creativity, ideas, and diversity above all and I am excited to begin academic mentorship and writing aid for the students that seek me out.
